General

1. Promoter: Ideal Utilities, incorporated in England under company number 11489845 and whose registered office is at Ideal Utilities, St Georges Park, Kirkham, Preston, PR4 2DZ
2. Acceptance of key conditions: By participating in the Ideal Utilities refer a friend scheme (the “scheme”), existing customers of Ideal Utilities (“Referrers”) and the friends that they refer (“Referred Friends”) are deemed to accept the following key conditions.
3. Eligibility: Referrers must be existing Ideal Utilities customers. Referred Friends must not have already signed up to Ideal Utilities or be an existing customer, already on supply with Ideal Utilities. The scheme is open to Referrers and Referred Friends who are residents of the UK. Over 18s only. Ideal Utilities reserves the right to verify Referrers and Referred Friends and require proof of eligibility.
4. Reward: The “Reward” is a choice of one £25 M&S, John Lewis Partnership or Amazon.co.uk Gift Card.

Referrer Rewards

• Registration: Once a Referrer has registered for the scheme, they will receive a Reward for each Referred Friend that signs up and goes on supply with Ideal Utilities, subject to these conditions.
• Duration: A Referrer will have the opportunity to earn Rewards for 3 months from the first time the Referrer shares the scheme with a friend. During this 3-month period, there is no limit on the number of friends the Referrer can share the scheme with or number of Rewards that can be earned by a Referrer. Rewards will only be earned in relation to successful referrals completed during this 3-month period, regardless of when the details of the scheme were shared. After this 3-month period, Rewards and associated key conditions are subject to change.
• Sharing the scheme: Referrers can share details of the scheme with friends in the ways outlined in the Mention Me terms and conditions.
• Qualification for Reward – Referrer: For a Referrer to qualify for a Reward, their Referred Friend must provide details (full name and email address) of the Referrer when they sign up to Ideal Utilities and meet all applicable eligibility criteria and other requirements. Ideal Utilities is not responsible for any Rewards sent to an email address quoted by a Referred Friend incorrectly.
• Qualification for Reward – Referred Friend: A Referred Friend who meets the eligibility criteria and results in the Referrer being entitled to a Reward will also be entitled to a Reward.
• Cancellation: If the sign up to Ideal Utilities by the Referred Friend is subsequently cancelled, this will result in the cancellation of the Referrer’s Reward and the Referred Friend’s Reward.
• Multiple Rewards: Rewards will be cumulative and so if multiple qualifying referrals are made to Ideal Utilities, multiple Rewards will be delivered to the Referrer. The Referred Friend Reward cannot be claimed by the same person making the referral.
• Notification: The Referrer will be notified by email once a Referred Friend has signed up, and again when the Reward has been earned.
• Delivery: “Rewards will be delivered (by email) to the Referrer and the Referred Friend after the Referred Friend has gone onto supply with Ideal Utilities. It could take up to 30 days from the Referred Friend’s sign up for the Reward to be delivered to the Referrer, if there are no unexpected issues or delays. Please note – Reward emails may be blocked by your email provider. Please check your spam or junk folders if you do not receive a Reward as expected.
• The Referrer and Referred Friend will only be issued their reward if the Referrer is still a customer, live on supply with Ideal Utilities at the time that the Referred Friend goes live on supply.
